Pioneer Woman Called To Rest
Funeral services were held last Monday for Mrs. Mary Kirwan, one of San Rafael’s respected pioneer residents, when a large number of sorrowing friends and relatives gathered for the last sad rites at St. Raphael’s Church.
Mrs. Kirwan was taken seriously ill last week and was removed to the West End Sanitarium, where she passed away the next day.
She was the mother of Joseph, David, Edmund, Robert and Nellie Kirwan, Mrs. W. A. Erickson and Mrs. F. J. Brien.
The funeral was under the direction of the Edward Eden Undertaking Parlors.
