LEOTA M. SWANK
The funeral for Leota M. Swank, a former Novato resident, will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Redwood Chapel mortuary in Novato.
Mrs. Swank, who was 74, died in an auto accident Monday in Santa Rosa.
She was born in Oklahoma and came to California in 1930. She lived for a time in Los Angeles before moving to Novato, where she lived from 1949 to 1951. She then moved to San Francisco and recently has lived in Santa Rosa.
Mrs. Swank is survived by three sisters, Leona McKinzie of Novato, Ivah Satterwhite of Palm Springs and Irene Plummer of Stockton; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A private burial will be at Valley memorial Park cemetery in Novato.
The family prefers memorial contributions to the Burn Center at St. Francis Memorial Hospital, 900 Hyde St., San Francisco, 94109.
