IRENE ESTELLE ASTLEY
Irene Estelle Astley, a former longtime Mill Valley resident, died Sunday in Tucson, Ariz.
Mrs. Astley, 75, was a native of Oklahoma. She moved to Mill Valley as a teenager and lived there for about 40 years.
Mrs. Astley worked in San Francisco for many years as a secretary and bookkeeper for the Hills Bros. Coffee Co. and the California Chamber of Commerce.
She is survived by three sons, Richard Astley of Boise, Idaho, Larry Astley of Anchorage, Alaska, and John Astley of Tuscon; a sister, Dorothy Smith of Mill Valley; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
No funeral will be held. Burial will be at Sunset View Cemetery in El Cerrito.
The family prefers donations to a favorite charity.
