ALICE R. GILBERT

A memorial Mass of the Resurrection for Alice Roche Gilbert of San Rafael, a retired teacher, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Nazareth House chapel in San Rafael.

Mrs. Gilbert died Monday at Nazareth House.

A native of San Francisco she was a teacher for many years in the San Francisco School District.

Mrs. Gilbert was past president of the St. Mary’s Medical Center Auxiliary of San Francisco and also belonged to many charitable and professional organizations.

Her husband, George T. Gilbert, died previously.

She has no immediate survivors.

Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in Colma. Memorial contributions may be made to the Nazareth House, 245 Nova Albion Way, San Rafael, or a favorite charity.
