RUTH M. ALUMBAUGH
Ruth M. Alumbaugh, a lifelong Marin County resident, died Wednesday at Kaiser Hospital in San Rafael after a brief illness.
She was 61 years old.
Mrs. Alumbaugh was a member of the Marin County Board of Realtors and was active in the real estate profession for many years.
Her husband, Joseph, died four years ago.
Mrs. Alumbaugh is survived by a daughter, Laura Ruth Alumbaugh of Novato; a son, James Moore Alumbaugh of San Rafael; a sister, Virginia Rickey Hamilton Cramer of Palm Desert, Riverside County; and a brother, Lt. Col. Stanton M. Rickey of Honolulu.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Loretto Church in Novato. Burial will be at Valley Memorial Park cemetery in Novato.
Friends may visit from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at Keaton’s Chapel of Marin mortuary in Novato. The rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Friday at the mortuary.
The family prefers contributions to a favorite charity.
