RINO GATTONI
The Mass of Christian Burial for Rino Gattoni of San Anselmo, a lifelong resident of Marin, will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Wednesday at St. Anselm’s Church in Ross.
Mr. Gattoni died unexpectedly Sunday at a friend’s home in Alameda. He was 61.
Mr. Gattoni, a native of San Rafael, attended local schools. He was a stonemason for 45 years. For the past eight years, Mr. Gattoni worked for the Western Art and Stone in South San Francisco.
Survivors are a daughter, Renee Bowler of Sonoma; two sons, Bruce Gattoni of Fairfax and Mark Gattoni of San Anselmo; his mother, Angelina Gattoni of San Anselmo; and three grandchildren.
Friends may call today after noon at Chapel of the Hills in San Anselmo. The rosary will be recited today at 7 p.m. at the mortuary.
Entombment will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery in San Rafael. The family prefers contributions to a favorite charity.
