HENRY JOSKE

A graveside service for Henry Joske of Terra Linda, father of former county parks chief Pierre Joske, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Mount Tamalpais Cemetery in San Rafael. Mr. Joske, 90, died Friday at Hillside Manor in San Rafael after a long illness.

He was born in Germany and came to the United States in 1948. He had made his home in Marin in 1966.

Mr. Joske, an attorney in Germany, held a variety of jobs in the United States. He taught Latin and other languages at Marin Country Day School for several years.

He was a member of a San Rafael stamp collectors club and the Anciens Combatants Francais, a French veterans organization.

He is survived by two sons, Jerry Joske of Filmore, Ventura County, and Pierre Joske of Novato; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
