WILBUR F. REECE
A private family funeral will be held for Wilbur F. Reece of Mill Valley, a retired steamfitter and longtime Mill Valley resident.
Mr. Reece, 71, died Sunday at Marin General Hospital after a brief illness.
He was a native of Bakersfield and had lived in Mill Valley for 30 years.
He was a veteran of World War II.
Mr. Reece worked for 45 years as a steamfitter for Western Piping and Engineering Co. in San Francisco, retiring in 1979.
He was a member of the Sons in Retirement and the Marin God & Gun Club.
Survivors include a daughter, Charlene Beasley of Danville; a son, Fred J. Reece of Novato; his mother, Margaret Reece of Porterville; two sisters, Dorothy Probst of Visalia and Elizabeth Hildreth of Porterville; and two grandchildren.
The family prefers memorial gifts to Hospice of Marin or the American Cancer Society.

A Death Notice in the same paper adds that he was the husband of the late Marie E. Reece; Russell & Gooch Funeral Chapel of Mill Valley handled the arranagements.
