Nicasio Hotelman Buried In City
Marin County lost one of its respected residents last Thursday in the death in San Francisco of Seth G. Roberts, for many years of San Rafael and at the time of his death a resident of Nicasio.
Death followed a long illness, which the deceased suffered uncomplainingly and it came to him on the sixtieth anniversary of his birth.
Roberts is best remembered as the genial host of “Henri’s” in Nicasio, a summer place noted for its hospitality to Marin county and San Francisco visitors. But he is personally and favorably known also to many residents of San Rafael as a businessman of this city about 15 years ago.
Scores of his friends and neighbors attended the funeral services in San Francisco last Saturday. The remains were cremated.
He is survived by a widow and three children, Lee and Seth Roberts, sons, and Mrs. J. MacTernan, the latter residing in Los Angeles.
