Former Local Man Dies At Fresno Hospital

News has been received here of the death at Fresno of Edwin Orr Davis, a former resident of San Rafael and am employee for many years of the Journal office.

Both Davis and his father, J. H. Davis, were with the Journal as compositors during their residence here.

The deceased is survived by a widow and one child, his father, a brother and sister.

A victim of tuberculosis, he had spent a number of years since leaving here in search of an agreeable climate. For some time he was at the I. T. U. Sanatarium (sic) in Colorado Springs. Later he worked in Watsonville.
