KARL O. REICHERT
A memorial service for Karl O. Reichert of Novato will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Keaton’s Chapel of Marin in Novato.
Mr. Reichert, who was 68, died Saturday , Aug. 22, 1987, at Novato Community Hospital after a short illness.
Mr. Reichert was a native of Price, Utah, and attended Brigham Young University.
In 1954, he moved to Fresno, where he owned and operated hotel and restaurant businesses.
He entered the electronics business in Santa Clara in 1965 and remained active in the industry until recently. He received patents in various phases of semiconductor manufacturing and served as a consultant to many large semiconductor companies.
He had lived in the Bel Marin Keys area of Novato since 1977.
Mr. Reichert was a member of the Marin Country Club and the San Rafael Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Mr. Reichert is survived by his wife, Shirley Reichert of Novato; a son, John K. Reichert of Rohnert Park; two daughters, Robin Reichert of Larkspur and Lisa Reichert Wilson of San Jose; and six grandchildren.
The San Rafael Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will conduct Wednesday’s service.
Inurnment will be private.
The family prefers that memorial contributions be sent to the American Cancer Society or a favorite charity.
