MABEL A. McGOWAN

Mabel A. McGowan of Mill Valley, longtime resident of Marin, died Sunday, Aug. 23, 1987, at Marin General Hospital following a short illness. She was 86.

She lived in Sausalito and Mill Valley for the past 60 years.

Mrs. McGowan was a homemaker.

Her husband, James P. McGowan, former police chief of Mill Valley and Sausalito, died previously.

Mrs. McGowan is survived by a son, James McGowan of Larkspur and a stepson, William McGowan of San Rafael.

No services will be conducted.

The family prefers that memorial donations be made to Mill Valley Seniors.
