VIVIAN ‘VICKY’ CARTER

Services have been conducted for Vivian “Vicky” Carter, a former resident of San Rafael.

Mrs. Carter died Aug. 3, 1987, at Mercy Hospital in Redding after a long illness. She was 60.

Mrs. Carter was born in Dickenson, N.D. She lived in San Rafael from 1956 to 1972.

She was a waitress at the House of Prime Rib in San Francisco for about 20 years. More recently, she worked at the Red Lion Restaurant in Redding.

Mrs. Carter is survived by her husband, Joseph Carter of Redding; three daughters, Deborah Bourne of Redding, Cheryl Bryant of Oak Run, Shasta County, Antoinette Jean Lochert of Redding; one son, Gary Lochert of Los Angeles; a brother, Eugene Kuntz of Palo Cedro, Shasta County; seven sisters, Christine Love of Redding, Judy Hartman of Palo Cedro, Dolores Hanson of Walnut Creek, Katherine Lowas of Oakland, Anna Hutzenbillar of Washington and Margaret Fischer of North Dakota; and two grandchildren.

The family prefers that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society or to Mercy Hospice, c/o Mercy Medical Center, Claremont Heights, Redding, 96001.
