Second Death In Bassett Family

A second death in the Bassett family of Fallon within a few months, with the passing of Miss Elsie last Saturday, has caused deep grief to the hundreds of neighbors and friends of the family in Northern Marin.

But twenty years of age, the young woman had made and kept hosts of friends through her school life in Tomales and Mills College in Oakland, where she was in her second year.

Following an operation four months ago, she improved for a time, and then suffered a relapse from which she never recovered.

She was the daughter of Mrs. Cecelia and the late William Bassett, whose death occurred in January of this year. She was the sister of Frances and Theodore Bassett.

The funeral, held Monday, was attended by a large gathering, which attested the universal popularity of the deceased.
