EDWARD F. PONINSKI
A Mass of Christian Burial for Edward F. Poninski of Greenbrae was celebrated Wednesday at St. Sebastian’s Church in San Rafael.
Mr. Poninski died unexpectedly in Santa Rosa.
He was born in Chicago, where he spent most of his life. He moved to Greenbrae about eight years ago.
Mr. Poninski had worked as a printer for many years in Chicago. After he retired, he helped manage an apartment complex.
He was an avid golfer.
He is survived by his wife Ann of Greenbrae; a son, Philip Poninski of Oswego, Ill.; three daughters, Donna Poninski of Kaiserslautern, Germany, Phyllis Sachs of Oakland, and Beverly Tatum of Bloominton, Ill.; and two sisters, Sophia Morski of Calumet, Ill., and Chestera Szewczyk of Chicago.
Burial was at Mount Tamalpais Cemetery in San Rafael.
