HANS C. LARSEN

Graveside services for former Mill Valley painter and decorator Hans C. Larsen, 70, were held at Golden Gate National Cemetery, San Bruno, yesterday.

Larsen, a native of Denmark, moved to Sonoma Valley shortly before his retirement three years ago. He died Friday in a Sonoma hospital after a short illness.

A painting contractor for 33 years, Larsen operated his own business in Mill Valley and was a past president of the Painting and Decorating Contractors Assn., San Rafael. He was a veteran of World War I.

Surviving him are his wife, Ruth Larsen; two sons, James C. and Robert M. Larsen of Sonoma; a brother and sister in Denmark, and six grandchildren.
