BONNIE MACKINTOSH
Bonnie Macintosh, 78, died at home Thursday in Mill Valley after a short illness.
Mrs. Mackintosh was a native of Bellingham, Wash.
She was a homemaker and had lived in Mill Valley for 25 years.
Mrs. Mackintosh had a lifelong interest in animals and often cared for strays in her home.
Her survivors include a daughter, Jane Albrecht of Mill Valley; a son, Kenneth Mackintosh of Arkansas; and seven grandchildren.
At her request, no services will be held.
The family prefers memorial gifts to the Marin Wildlife Center, Hospice of Marin or the Gorilla Foundation at Stanford University, which benefits research in language development.
