MARZELLE ANAWALT

Marzelle Anawalt of San Rafael wrote short stories about ranch life with her husband.
She died Nov. 17 at 92.
She was born in Fort Worth, Texas, and lived in San Anselmo for 20 years before moving to San Rafael.
Mrs. Anawalt was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening.
She is survived by her children, Virginia Mardesich of San Rafael, Bruce Anawalt of Pullman, Wash., Douglas Anawalt of San Anselmo and Don Anawalt of Orangevale; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Her husband died earlier.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Red Cross “Hurricane Mitch Fund.”
