MAUREEN B. WALLACE
A Mass of Christian Burial for Maureen Burke Wallace of San Rafael will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Monday at St. Francis Church in Sacramento.
Mrs. Wallace died Wednesday at Marin General Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was 63.
She was born and reared in Sacramento and had lived in Marin County since 1950.
Mrs. Wallace was a graduate of San Jose State University, where she was a member of the Omega Nu sorority. She had been a teacher at one time.
She is survived by four daughters, Maureen Wallace Jr. of Lafayette, Laurie Wallace of Sacramento, Kerry Klein of Northridge and Jamie Wallace of Mill Valley; a brother, Leonard Patrick Burke of Sacramento; and three grandchildren.
Recitation of the rosary will be at 4 p.m. Sunday at the W. F. Gormley & Sons Chapel, 2015 Capitol Ave., Sacramento. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Sacramento.
The family prefers that contributions be made to the Marin Hemodialysis Center in Greenbrae.
