JAMES WESSON

Funeral for James G. Wesson, former longtime Mill Valley resident, was today in Sonoma. Wesson died yesterday in a Sonoma hospital following a lengthy illness. He was 74.

Born in Greece, Wesson moved to California 38 years ago, living in Mill Valley most of the time since then. He moved to Sonoma two years ago. He was manager of a San Francisco liquor store for 35 years before retirement.

Burial was in Mountain Cemetery, Sonoma.

Wesson is survived by his wife, Alice Wesson of the home at 590 Andrieux Street, Sonoma, and nieces and nephews in Greece.

The family prefers memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.
