Howard R. Gulack, 82, of Larkspur died Saturday at Marin General Hospital.
The Neptune Society is handling the arrangements.

HOWARD R. GULACK
Howard R. Gulack, a former banker and 12-year Larkspur resident, died Saturday at Marin General Hospital after a brief illness.
Mr. Gulack, who was 82, was born in Minneapolis, and moved to Southern California when he was a child. He graduated from Pasadena High School and attended Occidental College in Los Angeles.
He worked in banking for about 44 years, beginning with Security Pacific National Bank in Pasadena and ending as a cashier with Lloyds Bank California in Los Angeles. He retired when he was 65.
About 12 years ago, he moved to Larkspur.
Baseball players and fans at Redwood High School may remember Gulack. He was an avid supporter of the team, enthusiastically cheering at many of the home games. Several years ago, the team presented him with a “Gramps of the Year” award.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; a daughter, Mary Lou Kilmer of Belvedere; a grandson who is a Baptist minister in San Anselmo; and two great-grandchidlren.
At his request, no services are planned.
