Former Sacramento Mayor Drops Dead Inverness Monday
Dr. Gustavus B. Simmonds, mayor of Sacramento about 20 years ago, dropped dead at Inverness Monday night from a heart attack. He was 73 years of age, and had made his home at Inverness with his wife for a number of years.
He was attended by Dr. W. F. Harding, of Pt. Reyes Station.
Besides his wife, two married daughters survive. They live in Oakland, where the body was taken for funeral service and interment, Tuesday.
