ROBERT C. DeVINNY
Robert C. DeVinny of Greenbrae died Thursday at his home after a lengthy illness. He was 64.
Funeral arrangements were pending at the Russell & Gooch Funeral Chapel in Mill Valley.

ROBERT C. DeVINNEY
Robert churchhill DeVinney, 64, died Thursday at his home in Greenbrae after a long illness.
He was born in Chicago and spent his early years in Wilmette, Ill.
Mr. DeVinney was a graduate of New Trier High School and received a bachelor’s degree in business from Northwestern University.
In World War II, he served in the Army in the United States and in Europe.
He and his family came to Greenbrae in 1960.
Mr. DeVinney was an advertising executive in the national syndicated television field for most of his career, working for such companies as United Artists and Guild Films.
An avid golfer, Mr. DeVinney had been retired for five years.
He is survived by his wife, Frances DeVinney; a son, Robert Heath DeVinney of Ukiah; two daughters, Joy Keenan of Pacifica and Susan DeVinney of San Francisco; and two granddaughters.
At his request, the memorial service will be private.
The family prefers memorial gifts to Hospice of Marin or Cancerport in San Rafael.
