BARBARA A. SCHNEIDER
Barbara A. Schneider of Santa Rosa, a former Marin County resident, died Tuesday at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital. She was 57.
Mrs. Schneider was born in San Francisco and lived in the Bay Area her entire life. She lived in Marin County for about 30 years. She moved to Santa Rosa in 1980.
She was a secretary for Leibman & Co. in Terra Linda for nine years and for Community Resources for Independent Living in Santa Rosa for two years.
She is survived by three sons, Bill Schneider of San Francisco, Robert C. Schneider of Petaluma and Dale Schneider of Santa Rosa; her parents, David and May McCarthy of Corte Madera; and a sister, Patricia Thompson of Sausalito.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of Loretto Church in Novato. The rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Keaton’s Chapel of Marin in Novato.
Burial will be at Valley Memorial Park in Novato.
The family prefers memorial contributions to the Cancer Society or the Lung Association.
