LOUIS V. POMETTA
Louis Victor Pometta, a longtime Ross resident, died Monday at his home after a lengthy illness. He was 79.
Mr. Pometta was born in Sonoma County and had lived nearly 40 years in Ross.
He owned and operated a dairy products business in San Francisco for many years. He was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School and St. Mary’s College.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Pometta of Ross; a son, Michael Pometta of Larkspur; a sister, Filomena Brunner of San Francisco; and a brother, Eugene Pometta of South San Francisco.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Anselm’s Church in San Anselmo. Recitation of the rosary will be at 8 tonight at the church.
Friends may call at Keaton’s Mortuary in San Rafael until 5:30 this afternoon.
Burial will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery in San Rafael. The family prefers spiritual bouquets.
