STEPHEN J. BLAINE
A burial at sea service has been held for Stephen John Blaine, 35, son of Judge Jack L. Blaine of Novato.
Mr. Blaine died unexpectedly in San Francisco on July 15.
He was born in San Francisco and grew up in Marin, attending the old San Rafael Military Academy and graduating from San Rafael High School.
He had been a seaman for many years, working for various lines including Delta Steamships.
His mother, Marian L. Blaine, died four years ago.
In addition to his father, he is survived by a brother, David Blaine of Laurel, Md.
