FRANCES DOS REIS
Frances Hale Dos Reis of San Anselmo died Friday at Ross General Hospital after a brief illness. She was 85.
Mrs. Dos Reis was born in San Francisco and reared in Napa. She moved to Marin 60 years ago.
She had been a Girl Scout leader for many years.
Mrs. Dos Reis was a member of Three G’s group of St. Anselm’s Church in San Anselmo and the Goldenaires.
Her husband, Manuel Dos Reis Jr., died previously.
She is survived by a sister, Genevieve Fahy of San Francisco; and two brothers, Elmer G. Hale of Tiburon and Vincent Hale of Napa.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Anselm’s Church. Recitation of the rosary will be at 8 p.m. Monday at the Chapel of the Hills in San Anselmo. Friends may call at the mortuary after noon Monday.
Entombment will be at Tulocay Cemetery in Napa. The family prefers spiritual bouquets or memorial contributions to the California Jesuit Missionary’s, 284 Stanyan St., San Francisco.
