ELIZABETH TALLITSCH
A memorial service for Elizabeth Tallitsch, a longtime Novato resident, will be held at 1 p.m. Aug. 17 at the Presbyterian Church of Novato.
Mrs. Tallitsch died July 29 at her home after a brief illness. She was 91.
She moved to Novato from Chicago, Ill., in 1951. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Tallitsch was an officer and active member of the Novato Hospital volunteers, Novato Senior Citizens, Nova Marin Grandmothers Club, Sunnyhills guild of Novato, the Open Door Club of t he Novato Presbyterian Church, the Novato Garden Club, the ladies auxiliary of the Novato Volunteer Fire Department, the Sylvan Circle, the Order of Eastern Star of Novato and the Novato Druids.
Her husband Sebastian, died in 1976, and a daughter, Margo Tallitsch, died in 1981.
She is survived by her son, Donald Tallitsch of San Mateo; two daughters, Theresa Mindling of Novato and Connie Plikuhn of Sebastopol; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Inurnment will be at Mountrose Cemetery in Chicago, Ill.
