JAMES BALDWIN
Funeral for James M. Baldwin, retired San Francisco auto repair businessman who lived in San Rafael, will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Russell & Gooch Funeral Chapel, 270 Miller Avenue, Mill Valley. Burial will be private.
Baldwin, 68, died at a Mill Valley convalescent home Thursday after a long illness.
A native of Dayton, Wash., he had lived in San Francisco 42 years before moving to San Rafael three years ago. He and his wife, Mildred, lived at 2130 Redwood Highway. Baldwin retired from his auto repair business eight years ago after suffering a stroke.
Besides his wife, He is survived by a son, Jack, of Hitchcock, Tex.; three sisters, Mrs. Frankie Puckett of Spokane and Mrs. Velma Boyd and Mrs. Hazel Motley, both of Pullman, Wash., and a brother, Bryan, of Lewiston, Idaho.
The family prefers contributions to the Muscular Dystrophy Association of San Rafael.
