HAROLD WHITEHEAD
Harold A. Whitehead of 496 Oak Manor Drive, Fairfax, a steamship officer, died yesterday in a local hospital after a long illness.
A native of Wallasey, England, he had worked for the Pacific Steam Navigation Co. for 45 years. Whitehead had lived in Marin county for four years.
He is survived by his wife, Kathryn I. Whitehead of the home, and a sister, Mrs. Margaret W. Butterworth of Wallasey, England.
Memorial services will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday at the Chapel of the Hills in San Anselmo.
Memorial gifts to the American Cancer Society would be preferred by the family.
