ROSE DAMATO
A Mass of Christian Burial for Rose Damato of Fairfax will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Rita’s Catholic Church in Fairfax.
Mrs. Damato died Friday at her home at the age of 71. She was a native of New Haven, Conn. Mrs. Damato was a member of the Italian Catholic Federation and Mercy Guild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas Damato.
Survivors are three sons, Fred Damato, tony Damato and Andrew Damato, all of Fairfax; two sisters, Liz Cardone of San Bruno and Mary Coelardi of Millbrae; and two grandchildren.
Entombment will be at Mount Tamalpais Cemetery in San Rafael. The rosary will be recited at 8 tonight at St. Rita’s Catholic Church in Fairfax.
