BEULAH P. HAYNIE
Beulah P. Haynie of Novato died Sunday at the Hill Road Convalescent Hospital in Novato after a long illness. She was 90.
Mrs. Haynie was a native of Oregon and moved to Marin County many years ago. She first lived at San Quentin, where her husband, Albert Haynie, was a correctional officer. He died in 1946.
She had lived in Novato for the past 20 years.
Mrs. Haynie had worked in retail sales all her life and was employed by many stores, among them Montgomery Wards, Macy’s and Schwartz Brothers.
She is survived by a daughter, Evogene Nieri of Browns Valley, Yuba County; a son, Albert Haynie of Springfield, Ore.; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
At her request, no funeral will be held. Burial will be at Valley Memorial Park in Novato.
