Pneumonia Causes Death Of Cook
With his temperature at 103, Emil Vernette, who was employed as cook at the Union Hotel, walked in the drenching rain Tuesday from the hotel to the Cottage Hospital. Two hours later he died.
Vernette was a native of France and about 40 years of age. He had been employed for some time at the hotel. The funeral will be held under the direction of Dr. F. E. Sawyer.
