FERDINAND L. MARCELLIN
A Mass of Christian Burial for Ferdinand L. Marcellin of San Anselmo will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Friday at St. Anselm’s Church in Ross.
Mr. Marcellin died Monday at Marin General Hospital after a long illness. He was 77.
He was born in Alameda and had lived in San Anselmo for 47 years. He was an electrician at Mare Island Naval Shipyard for many years.
His wife, Katherine Marcellin, died in 1981.
He is survived by a son, Joseph Marcellin of Detroit, Mich.; two daughters, Marie Salvas of San Rafael and Kathleen McGarvin of Virginia; a sister, Lucia Phillips of Castro Valley; and nine grandchildren.
Recitation of the rosary will be a 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Chapel of the Hills in San Anselmo. Friends may call at the mortuary after 6:30 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery in San Rafael.
The family prefers that memorial contributions be made to the Hanna Boys Center, P.O. Box 100, Sonoma, 95476.
