Local Teacher’s Mother Dies In Santa Rosa
Mrs. Smythe, mother of Miss Louise Smythe, who is a teacher in the local schools, passed away Tuesday afternoon at her home in Santa Rosa. Miss Smythe was called to her mother’s bedside Friday and remained with her until the end.
Mrs. Smythe had been feeble for several years, and for a short time last winter lived here with her daughters.
Besides Miss Louise, she leaves another daughter, Miss Charlotte Smythe, a teacher in the Los Angeles public schools. The funeral will be held this morning at her home in Santa Rosa, where she lived for many years.
