Funeral Of Broker In San Francisco
The funeral of William Hinkel, for some time past a resident of San Anselmo, was held Saturday in San Francisco, where he was removed when the seriousness of his illness became manifest.
For many years Mr. Hinkel had been a stock and bond broker in San Francisco, in which calling he amassed a fortune of a quarter of a million dollars.
A few years ago he became interested in the development of this county, and his judgment prompted him to invest a large sum of money in real estate here. Later he purchased a suburban home in San Anselmo.
His widow, Mrs. Lizzie Hinkel, a stepson, George Hinkel, and several brothers and sisters survive the deceased. He was 63 years old.
