BLANCHE ZEKONIS
Funeral for Mrs. Blanche P. Zekonis, 45, of 5 Garden Avenue, San Rafael, will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Harry M. Williams Mortuary in San Rafael. Burial will be in Golden Gate National Cemetery, San Bruno.
Mrs. Zekonis died Saturday in an Oakland hospital after a long illness.
She was the wife of Stephen N. Zekonis, a correctional sergeant at San Quentin Prison. She was born in St. Louis, Mo., and had resided in California for 40 years and in Marin for seven years. She grew up and attended school in Los Angeles.
Surviving, besides her husband, are two sisters and three brothers in Los Angeles and a sister in Norfolk, Va.

A Death Notice in the same paper gives her husband’s name as Stephen W. Zekonis.
