MRS. RAINFORD
Mrs. Charlotte H. Rainford, 83, of 45 Millard Road, Larkspur, died Saturday in a local convalescent home after a long illness.
A native of Birmingham, England, she had lived in California for more than six years and in Marin County for three years.
She was the widow of William S. Rainford, a building contractor until hi death 28 yeas ago. Surviving are a son, Col. William R. Rainford, U. S. Army (retired), of Larkspur; a brother, Stratford H. Ryland of British Columbia, Canada; two grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be held Wednesday at the Goodwin Funeral Home in Manchester, N.H. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Manchester. Funeral arrangements were made by Keaton’s Mortuary, San Rafael.

A Death Notice in the same paper says she was the grandmother of Mrs. David Katch of Palos Verdes Estates, Calif., Lt. Wm. R. Rainford Jr., U. S. Army, Panama Canal Zone, and great-grandmother of Stephanie Katch,, Melissa Rainford and Wm. R. Rainford III.
