Last Roll Call For War Veteran
William H. Drawbaugh, a veteran of the Indian wars, and who also had seen service in the Philippine campaign, died Saturday at his home in San Anselmo at the age of 72 years. He had lived in San Anselmo for four years, taking up his residence there shortly after his retirement from the army. Since his return from the Philippines he had been connected with the quartermaster’s department of the army. So far as is known by his friends, Drawbaugh has no relatives living. He was born in Pennsylvania from which state he enlisted.
The funeral was held Tuesday from the parlors of a San Francisco undertaker and the remains were interred in the National cemetery at the Presidio.
