Sad Death Of A Bolinas Baby
While playing about the floor near his mother last Monday in Bolinas little Paul C. Wiegandt Jr., two years old, fell into a pail of boiling water. The shock resulting from the accident caused the death of the little fellow the next day. Despite the efforts of Dr. Gibson and several sympathizing neighbor women the baby could not be saved.
The sorrowing father has been employed until recently at the Marconi plant. He is said to be a mechanic of more than ordinary skill, and he is now engaged in the construction of a monoplane with which he intends to compete in the Exposition aeroplane contests.
The hand of death has closed upon four of the children of the young parents, and this last visitation has almost unnerved the mother, who is still under the care of a physician. They have another child about three months of age.
The little one was prepared for burial Tuesday by Dr. F. E. Sawyer and arrangements for the funeral were made. Yesterday Dr. J. C. Cutting, pastor of the Episcopal church in this city, went to Bolinas and conducted the services, which were attended by many of the residents of Bolinas.
