Young Mother Victim Of New Epidemic
A particularly sad death was recorded last Tuesday in the passing away of Mrs. Edna Christian of Kentfield, at the Cottage Hospital Annex, from influenza.
But 27 years of age, she was the mother of two children, a boy of 9 and a girl of 3 years. The birth of another child was expected in December.
The deepest sympathy is extended by the neighbors to the husband, Elmo Christian, who is left with the care of the little ones.
Mrs. Christian was ill but seven days. Stricken with influenza October 15th, the affliction rapidly developed into pneumonia, which caused the death.
The funeral was held privately this morning, under the direction of Dr. F. E. Sawyer.
