TALBOT J. HELMS

A private service has been held for Talbot J. Helms of Mill Valley. Mr. Helms died Thursday at Marin General Hospital after a short illness. He was 71.

Mr. Helms was born in San Francisco and had lived in Marin for the past 11 years.

He was a retired real estate salesman and worked in the business for 25 years. He had been employed by the Madison and Burke Real Estate Co. in San Francisco.

He is survived by his former wife, Barbara Helms of Tiburon; a son, Michael T. Helms of Tiburon; and a daughter Kimberly M. Helms of Fremont.

Burial was at Fernwood Cemetery in Tennessee Valley.

His family asked that memorial contributions go to a favorite charity.
