HELEN FRENCH EWING
Helen French Ewing of Greenbrae, a member of a longtime San Francisco family, died Thursday at The Tamalpais retirement center after a long illness. She was 81.
Mrs. Ewing, who lived most of her life in San Francisco, moved to Greenbrae in 1968. She was a member of San Francisco’s Wainwright family.
She was a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley, where she studied English.
For several years she worked as a secretary at the Stanford University Medical Center in Palo Alto.
At her request, there will be no services.
