Death Cuts Short A. Johnson’s Visit
Alfred Johnson, a wealthy lumberman of Coquelle, Oregon, and father-in-law of R. Stanley Dollar, died at the home of Robert Dollar last Saturday after a brief illness.
Mr. Johnson had come down from his northern home to visit his friend and business associate, Robert Dollar, as well as his daughter, who about two years ago became the bride of R. Stanley Dollar.
The funeral was held Monday from the Dollar residence under the direction of Dr. F. E. Sawyer, and burial was made here instead of shipping the remains to Oregon.
The deceased was the father of Alfred Johnson, Jr., Everett E. and Charles McC. Johnson, Mrs. D. L. Albert, Mrs. J. Calvin Slagle, Mrs. Thomas H. Mehd and Mrs. R. Stanley Dollar. He was 69 years of age.
