YVONNE A. CROKE

A private service was held today for Yvonne A. Croke of Alamo, a former resident of Marin. Mrs. Croke, 58, died Sunday at home after a long illness.

Mrs. Croke’s husband, George Croke of Alamo, is a former president of the board of directors of the Marin Hospital District.

Mrs. Croke was born in San Francisco. She and her husband lived in Fairfax and Sleepy Hollow from 1947 to 1974. They moved then to Tahoe City, where Mrs. Croke was active in real estate sales. They had resided in Alamo since last year.

She also is survived by five sons, George Croke of Ferrieres, France, Robert Croke of Petaluma, Michael Croke of Incline Village, Nev., Joseph Croke of Tiburon and Jon Croke of Sacramento; and four grandchildren.

Burial was at Mount Tamalpais Cemetery in San Rafael.

Her family asked that memorial contributions go to the Hospice of Contra Costa, 1204 Boulevard Way, Walnut Creek, 94595.
