William F. McCamish Answers Last Call
Death came last Tuesday and relieved the suffering of William F. McCamish, who had been ill for many weeks and confined to his home on Latham street. Surrounded by the members of his sorrowing family, he passed away quietly. The end had been expected by the family for weeks, but the shock of the reality was as poignant as if the loved husband and father had been taken in vigorous health. Heart trouble was the cause of death.
Mr. McCamish had lived in San Rafael most of his life. He was well known and respected highly for his excellent qualities as a citizen and as a man.
His funeral will be held at 2 o’clock today at Sawyer’s Parlors, and interment will be made in Mount Tamalpais cemetery. The Rev. Stevens, former pastor of the Congregational church and a personal friend of the deceased, will preach the funeral sermon and the choir of the church will sing.
The members of the family left to mourn him are the widow, Mrs. Vinnie B. McCamish, and four sons, Wendell F., Myron D., Marshall E. and Dudley W. McCamish. Deceased was 53 years of age and a native of Utah.
