JAMES DONALD COUSINS
A graveside service for James Donald Cousins of Grass Valley, a former Marin resident, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Sierra Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Nevada City.
Mr. Cousins, 46, died Tuesday at the University of California Medical Center in San Francisco after a heart attack.
He was born in Chicago and moved to California as a child. He was a graduate of Palo Alto High School.
Mr. Cousins lived in Novato and San Rafael for several years before moving to Truckee 14 years ago. He moved to Grass Valley in 1982.
In Marin, he had owned a pharmaceutical company; in Truckee, he owned a clothing store. He worked as a builder at the time of his death.
He was a member of the Sea Ray Boating Club in San Francisco.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Cousins of Grass Valley; a son, Jimmie Cousins of Mountain View; two daughters Mary Ann Cousins of Mill Valley and Juilette (sic) Jung of Rohnert Park; two stepchildren, Lynette Rudacil of Monterey and Daren Rudacil of Fresno; his mother, Mary Ann Cousins of San Rafael and Grass Valley; and a brother, Michael Cousins of Tiburon.
The family prefers memorial contributions to the Heart Fund.
