News has reached here of the death in a mine explosion of William C. Hunter, a former San Rafael boy and the son of Wm. J. Hunter, Northwestern Pacific official. The fatality occurred in Nevada, where the young man was employed as a mining engineer. The funeral was held Monday in Healdsburg.
