Miss Lobaugh Nurse, Dies of Heart Trouble

Miss Goldie Ella Lobaugh, a trained nurse, who is well known in San Rafael through her professional association with local physicians, passed away at her home in Novato Monday from heart trouble. The girl had recently undergone an operation for appendicitis and was recovering rapidly when symptoms of a heart affliction developed. An autopsy revealed that death was due to cardiac thrombosis. A blood clot was discovered in one of the heart arteries.

Funeral will be held Friday from the home residence. Miss Lobaugh was the daughter of Curtin and Sarah Lobaugh. Her sister, who is also a nurse, arrived this morning from Needles, where she had gone shortly before Miss Lobaugh’s death. Rev. Lynn T. White preached the funeral sermon.
