PETER M. AKIN
Peter Merwyn Akin, 38, of Novato, died Thursday unexpectedly at his home. He had recently undergone surgery, according to the coroner’s office.
Arrangements are being handled by Chapel of the Hills in San Anselmo.

PETER M. AKIN
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Presbyterian Church of Novato for Peter M. Akin who died Thursday at home after an illness. He was 39.
Mr. Akin was a life-long resident of Marin County. He is survived by his wife, Maureen Akin of Novato; his mother, Pauline Barford; a brother, Berry Akin; a sister, Ann Akin; and many nieces and nephews.
Burial will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel of the Hills of San Anselmo.
